The platform is built on Aristotle’s national voter, consumer, donor, alumni, and business files, which include more than 300 million individuals, 226 million contributions, 39 million unique donors, and over 1,000 available data points. These data assets allow advertisers to use both standard audience segments and custom-built audiences tailored to campaign objectives.

Methodology

Aristotle’s methodology centers on data quality, audience precision, and campaign applicability. Its records and audiences go through hygiene, validation, and compliance processes before being made available for activation. The data is built from a combination of deterministic and modeled third-party sources, enriched with identity signals such as emails, hashed emails, IP addresses, MAIDs, and device IDs to improve match rates across digital channels.

Aristotle’s data sources include election boards and state registrar offices, credit and mortgage data, consumer transactions, self-reported registrations and surveys, online preferences, public records, Census data, machine learning models, and proprietary data assets. The company regularly updates and cleans its data to maintain quality and campaign relevance.

  • Audience Identification: Advertisers define the target audience based on campaign goals, such as persuadable voters, policy influencers, CPG buyers, alumni groups, affluent consumers, or custom behavioral and demographic combinations.
  • Data Matching and Enrichment: Aristotle matches audience records across postal, email, phone, IP, mobile ID, and device-level signals to support digital activation and improve audience reach.
  • Segment Creation: Audiences can be selected from Aristotle’s taxonomy or built as custom segments using the company’s available data points and proprietary models.
  • Quality and Compliance Review: Records are processed through hygiene, validation, and compliance workflows to support responsible and accurate audience use.
  • Optimization Use Cases: For political campaigns, Aristotle can incorporate early and absentee voting feeds from states that provide this data. These feeds can be used to suppress voters who have already voted, helping reduce wasted impressions and improve campaign efficiency
